Washing Instructions

All Gel Cushions: Hand wash with mild detergent in warm water, hot or cold rinse and allow to air or sponge dry. Machine wash on the 'regular' cycle in warm water using a mild detergent.  Place in a dryer and tumble dry using the 'heat' or 'air' settings. The cushion may also be steam autoclaved for superior sanitation. 

Gel/Foam Combination Cushions: Remove the foam insert and follow the above instructions.  Replace the foam insert after completing the cleaning process.

Cover: Both cover types -- the Air-Flo for incontinence control, and the Lycra-Spandex stretch comfort cover --may be washed and dried with or without the FlexGel™ cushion insert.They may also be wiped clean with a neutral detergent, or disinfected with bleach or a quaternary type disinfectant. Test on a small area before overall use.

Soft Bottom (motorcycle, trucker, stadium covers): DO NOT USE BLEACH.

FlexGel™ Luxury Pet Beds: Wash the cover and FlexGel™ separately. DO NOT USE BLEACH. DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER in the washer or dryer. Fabric Softener is an allergy hazard to animals and also reduces the anti-bacterial feature of the cover over time. FlexGel™ can be machine washed or simply hosed down or soaked in the bathtub.
